How can I transform my job into a career that supports my financial, emotional and spiritual needs? Build a Career You Love by Creating a Unique Identity The vast majority of people in this world are toiling away at jobs that fail to motivate and inspire them. Day after day they wake up, dreading or feeling entirely apathetic about their work. That's one of the main reasons why so many people suffer from stress related illnesses and disorders. I tell all of my clients who find themselves in this position that one of the best ways to transform their business or career from dull and unprofitable into lucrative and enjoyable, is to create a unique identify for themselves. If you do the extra work to become a specialist in a field you enjoy, clients and employers will see you as an investment. They will be willing to spend more on you to obtain your expertise. This means greater income, greater love for your work and a lot less stress! This week, give your career a boost by thinking about your unique identity. Write down three areas that you would enjoy specializing in your line of work and what you would need to achieve that specialization.
